Description
RN (Registered Nurse)
Location
- Silverdale, Washington
Contract
- 13 weeks
- Nights
- 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- RN license: Washington or Compact
- BLS (AHA)
- At least 1 year of clinical experience
- EPIC experience
Unit Details
- Telemetry unit
- 18 beds
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4 to 1:5
- Charge RN
- Nurse aides on unit: 1:9
- RN reads strips
- RN titrates drips, including comfort care medicated drips, limited heparin, and Cardizem up to 10 mg/hr
Patient Population
- Medical oncology with medical-surgical overflow
- Common diagnoses include CHF, DM, UTI, non-critical sepsis, HTN, and COPD
Equipment / Clinical Support
- CPAP and BiPAP available
- No high-flow
Schedule / Work Expectations
- Weekend requirement based on unit needs
- Standby is standard shift with 1-hour response time
- Floating required as needed to like departments
- 2–3 shift orientation
Additional Notes
- Auto offer based on clinical recommendation
- Start date and requested time off must be approved when applicable
- Bio/Chemotherapy certification is preferred but not required
