Description

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Colorado Springs, CO
$80,000 - $85,000 a year
One of our top clients is seeking a BCBA for one of our three locations and an opportunity to be a part of a visionary and growing company in Colorado Springs, CO.
BCBA's caseloads at our clients are small, focusing on quality care. Our client does not place emphasis on high billable hours. 20 hours per week of billable time allows for focus on students, families, and mentoring RBT's to support a strong clinical culture. Meeting 20 billable hours per week allows for a paid day off the following week. Meeting 25 hours on average per week and greater provides a bonus that can exceed $3000 per month.
Our client is privately owned. The owners are involved in the daily support of the team with the goal of providing a safe environment to grow in your career, include your ideas into the clinical quality, and evolve the field of ABA with compassion. Unlike many corporate ABA providers, your voice, ideas, and passion, are welcomed to grow and evolve our client.
Our client practices trauma informed-care. We are committed to ethical, child-focused, clinical care. Client’s clinical programs are individualized to each family. Therapy takes place in one of our centers or as a combination of in home, in center, and within the community. All sessions occur Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, leaving the evenings and weekends open to ensure a healthy work/life balance. We take a whole person approach to ABA so each child’s programs include components of physical wellness, self-care, mindfulness, care of living space, as well as the individualized programs for cognitive and language development. BCBAs benefit from a collaborative clinical setting and a basic structure for sessions while practicing their own style of therapy within the broad guidelines of our clients
Clinical Approach.
Our client considers every individual valuable that has the right to self-determination. Our focus is on providing functional skills that help our students live the life they wish to live.
We encourage autonomy and honor the student’s agency over their own body and life. We do not practice force compliance.
We focus on de-escalation. Unless there is a serious safety issue, we gain the student’s permission for physical contact.
We recognize the student does not live a life alone but a life in a family and a community.
We practice Trauma Informed Care, a practice that prioritizes safety, collaboration, trust, empowerment, and choice.
We utilize only evidence-based treatments and work diligently to implement new strategies when research has shown them to be effective.
