RN - Electrophysiology

Job Overview

Location: Springfield, Missouri

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Missouri
Electrophysiology Lab experience within the last year
1 year of Electrophysiology Lab experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License

Work Setting

EP lab with 3 EP rooms
Cardiovascular patient population
Float as required by the facility
No weekend hours
No call requirements

Key Responsibilities

Scrub electrophysiology cases, including devices and ablations
Assist with pre- and post-procedure patient care as needed
Support diagnostic and interventional procedures
Clean necessary equipment and supplies
Train students and other technologists in special procedures
Perform routine department duties when not assigned to special procedures

Skills and Work Conditions

Must be able to manipulate angiography and digital imaging equipment
Must be able to lift, move, and transport patients
Requires continual standing and walking
Must be able to recognize emergency situations and work in stressful situations
Must communicate effectively
Must be able to stand up to six hours while wearing protective gear
