Position Overview

The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography scans. This role requires adherence to safety protocols and efficient operation of imaging equipment to assist in patient care and diagnostic processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct CT scans in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Maintain and operate CT equipment, performing routine checks and troubleshooting as necessary.
• Document and record all necessary patient information and imaging results within the electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to implement patient care plans.

Schedule

This position requires flexibility with the following schedule:

• Working days: Thursday to Friday from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM.
• Working weekends: Saturday to Sunday from 02:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

Call Requirements

On-call duties are required, approximately 2-4 nights per month.

Qualifications

• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification with a focus in CT.
• Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Experience in a clinical environment is preferred.
• Proficient in the use of electronic health record systems, specifically Epic.

Work Environment

This position is based in a short-term acute care facility equipped with 109 staff beds. A collaborative work atmosphere promotes high standards in patient care.

Additional Information

• No parking fees for staff.
• Scrub color is flexible; any color acceptable, with specific scrubs provided for OR/Critical Care/ED/Maternal Child.
