Shift Window: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Weekend: As required by facility
Call: Any scheduled day; approximately 5 or fewer call shifts per 8 weeks
Float: As required by facility
Requirements
1+ year Surgical Technologist experience in a hospital setting
Must have graduated from an accredited Surgical Technology program
BLS – AHA only
CST preferred
Level I trauma experience preferred, with multiple years of experience preferred
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced OR environment

Main OR: 22 beds
ASC: 8 beds
Ortho: 10 beds
Patient Ratio: 1:1
EMR: Epic
Equipment: Various equipment, including Da Vinci robotic system
Patient Population: Outpatient through critical-care inpatient
Core Responsibilities
Set up surgical cases across multiple specialties.
Prepare equipment and supplies according to patient needs and surgeon preference.
Maintain a sterile field.
Perform instrument, sponge, and sharp counts.
Assist surgeons and circulating RNs during procedures.
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of the surgeon and circulating RN.
Assist OR staff with patient safety and direct-care activities.
Serve as a resource for newly hired Surgical Technicians and Surgical Technology students.
Follow Universal Precautions and established surgical safety standards.
