Contract Length

Required Qualifications

• Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
• Cath Lab Technologist (1 year of experience)
• Cath Lab Radiology Technologist experience
• Associate's degree in radiologic technology or certificate of completion in radiologic technology
• Illinois Radiography License
• BLS
• ACLS
• ARRT (R)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide care in the invasive lab for diagnostic and interventional cardiac, electrophysiology, peripheral vascular, neuro interventional, and interventional radiology procedures
• Assist with invasive procedures by circulating, scrubbing, monitoring, and supporting hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation
• Administer contrast material when applicable, including via existing IV line or venipuncture with IV placement
• Prepare for procedures, verify patient and chart information, and complete procedural documentation
• Explain procedures and support patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality
• Troubleshoot basic PACS issues and verify image transfer
• Float to other department areas as needed, including Prep and Recovery
• Take call independently within 6 months

Additional Relevant Skills

• Neuro interventional, IR, and EP experience is a plus
• Ability to learn and retain patient care and procedure information
