Description
American Traveler is hiring an Oncology RN with chemo certification and compact license eligibility for a 13-week travel assignment caring for oncology patients across the adult and geriatric population.
Details
- 32-bed oncology unit caring for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- Patient ratios of 5:1 on days and 6:1 on nights
- 12-hour night shifts totaling 36 hours per week
- No on-call requirements
- Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week period required
- Float requirement to Med Surg, Cardiac, and Neuro Joint Spine units as needed
- May float between regional facilities (Avista, Castle Rock, Littleton, Parker, Porter) with at least 2 hours notice for off-site floats
- Uses EPIC EMR
Requirements
- Active RN license (Standard or Compact/CO)
- Oncology List D chemo certification required
Additional Information
- If you call off on a weekend or holiday, you may be rescheduled for another weekend or holiday shift per facility policy
- COVID vaccination card or approved declination required for consideration
- Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as travelers with no radius rule
- Permanent employees must be separated from employment for 90 days before returning as a traveler
