Rate - $115/hr SHIFT: Days- (4 x 10’s) - 6:30 am to 5:00 pm- WITH ONCALL REQUIREMENTS TO COVER OFF-SHIFT AND WEEKENDS, HOLIDAYS AS NEEDED *Prefer applicant have Cath Lab / IR experience Must be an experienced traveler *Could float to other areas if needed *Could care for Covid patients *Epic experience required *ACLS & BLS REQUIRED  RN checklist  *Do not submit local candidates to these travel positions. If candidate accepts the lower local rate, submit the profile which clearly notates candidate is local and aware local rates are lower. *As of 1/5/2022 all travelers must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. **Any traveler declining the COVID-19 vaccine, must be approved for a medical/religious exemption by their agency Interventional Radiology RNs uses radiological technology to perform minimally invasive interventional techniques blood vessel procedures such as angiography, angioplasty, and stent placement; biopsy procedures; fibroid removal; and fluid and abscess drainage. Interventional radiologists often employ advanced practice nurses that oversee the interventional radiology laboratory in the absence of the interventional radiologist. Nurse radiologists in an interventional radiology laboratory setting perform a number of procedures, such as central line placements, while also assisting the radiologist in more complex procedures. In addition, they perform a number of important tasks outside of the interventional laboratory, which may include: Acting as the first point of contact for referrals and patients Attending patient consultations Performing initial examinations and patient assessments Writing pre-procedure orders Making recommendations to the referring physician, the patient, and patient’s family under the guidance of the interventional radiologist Serving as a liaison between the patient and the nursing staff and referring physician Performing daily rounds and communicating patient progress to the medical staff and the radiologist Orchestrating patient discharge and making additional referrals for home care Performing follow-up visits
