Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an Inpatient Rehab unit, requiring 1+ year of experience and BLS certification.
Details
- Inpatient Rehabilitation unit setting
- Patient population includes lymphedema, pediatric, and geriatric cases
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Day shift schedule with options of 5x8-hour shifts (7:30-16:00) or 4x10-hour shifts (7:30-18:00)
Requirements
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- Experience with any charting system required
- Community hospital experience preferred
- CPSI charting experience preferred
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include patient assessment, evaluation, plan of care development, reassessments, and discharge planning
- Skills include lifting and transfer, patient/family education, and safety and injury prevention
- Preferred experience includes lymphedema management, splinting, adaptive equipment assessment, and orthopedic rehabilitation programs
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates accepted
- Holiday RTO restrictions apply during Christmas and New Year's
- RTO must be submitted with initial profile
