Description

Planet Healthcare is looking for a Nuclear Med Tech in the Oak Lawn, IL area.
Shift: 8 hours, Day Shift, 6a -2:30p or 7:30a - 4:00p (will vary), 40 hours per week, every other weekend, holidays as needed, floating between inpatient and outpatient facilities

some call may be required; all call times end at 9pm (no overnight call)

Job Description & Requirements:

Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP Pending compliance
Employment Type: Contract
Performs basic to intermediate nuclear medicine diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
2 years minimum experience required - Unit will not accept first time travelers
Patient Types: General nuclear medicine patients
Patient Ratios: 1:1
Skills required: General nuclear medicine skills; EPIC experience required
Charting System/Equipment: EPIC (experience required), GE Nuclear Cameras, Spect CT and Spect
Scrub Color: Caribbean blue
Additional Notes: No artificial fingernails or extenders allowed during direct patient contact. Natural nail tips must be kept less than 1/4 -inch long
Active ARRT, IEMA and AHA BLS
