Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiation Therapist license in New Jersey
- Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
- ARRT (RT)
- High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an approved Radiation Therapy program
- True Beam experience
- Accelerator experience
- SIMS experience
- 1-2 years of Radiation Therapy experience

- 3-5 years of experience

Job Responsibilities
- Deliver and monitor radiation treatment
- Obtain and evaluate portal images and implement corrective measures as needed
- Perform treatment calculations
- Prepare the room and equipment
- Instruct patients on equipment and procedures
- Obtain informed consent
- Transfer and position patients
- Simulate treatment portals using conventional and/or CT simulator
- Document setup instructions and treatment details
- Assess diagnostic studies for field placement
- Construct immobilization devices, shielding blocks, lead cut-outs, and bolus as needed
- Perform quality assurance procedures on treatment units, simulators, film processor, and treatment accessories
- Monitor equipment operation and report malfunctions
- Respond to patient physical condition and special needs
- Assist in teaching radiation therapy students during clinical rotation
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 25 lbs
- Must be able to stand a minimum of 4 hours per day
