Description

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a 13-week nights assignment requiring 2 years of ICU experience, ACLS, and NIHSS certification.

Details

• Intensive Care Unit setting within a hospital
• Patient ratio of 2:1
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Uses Epic EMR
• Floating required, with potential float assignments to PCU and ED Hold area, as well as sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of the facility
• Travelers are prioritized for floating assignments
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Degree accreditation must be documented on profile, or candidate must have 5 years of experience
• Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing
• Demographic information required for consideration: full address, email, full DOB, full SSN, and RN license number

Additional Information

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel positioning, with strict verification of residency
• Candidates must not own or cosign property within the 50-mile radius
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted prior to consideration, as RTO will not be approved after submission
• Orientation begins on a Friday, including remote orientation and an in-person visit for badge/ID
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date with no exceptions for pending documentation
• Facility values a strong team-oriented culture, with travelers expected to integrate as core staff
