Cath Lab Tech
Location
- Sioux Falls, South Dakota
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Role Summary
- Cath Lab Tech
- General duties include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring peripheral/vascular cases and right and left heart caths; may also scrub devices and work in EP cases.
Required Qualifications
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
- RCIS or RCES
Schedule
- 4-10 hour varying shifts: 0530-1600, 0630-1700, and 0730-1800
- On call: 1 call per week and 1 call weekend every 3-4 weeks
- 30 minute response time
- Must work Christmas Eve coverage
Unit Details
- 8 fluoro rooms
- 1 minimally invasive room without fluoro
Additional Notes
- No floating to other units
- All clinicians must badge in and out at facility
- Scrubs: Ceil Blue provided
- Orientation will focus on monitoring in XIM and being able to scrub and circulate effectively
