Echo Tech
Role Overview
Echo Technologist responsible for technical procedures, patient care, and workflow in the echocardiography laboratory. Performs full-range cardiac diagnostic testing and assists physicians and sonographers with echocardiographic exams.

Schedule
- Days: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
- 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Echo Technologist (1 year of experience)
- Echo Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- Associate's degree in sonography
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex echocardiographic sonography imaging procedures following departmental guidelines
- Demonstrate acceptable imaging quality standards by critiquing positioning, technical factors, and alignment
- Review patient data for accuracy, quality, and completeness
- Document accurately and completely
- Cross-train to other divisions of CV Services
- Administer contrast when needed and not contraindicated
- Complete documentation of studies performed and charges in Epic, and complete preliminary info in Xcelera for physician reading
- Participate in call rotation during the week and on weekends
- Perform all forms of Echo testing, including Exercise Stress, Dobutamine stress, Echoes, Pediatric echoes, and Tranesophageal echoes
