Job Title: RN-Intensive Care Unit

Location: Elizabethtown, KY

Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and fosters a caring environment focused on healing and wellness. Nursing practices are guided by evidence-based research, hospital policies, regulatory standards, and professional guidelines. The RN utilizes critical thinking and the nursing process to provide comprehensive care, including assessments, treatments, patient education, care coordination, and individualized treatment planning. The role involves active participation in quality improvement activities, promoting a positive team dynamic, and ensuring nursing excellence through adherence to professional standards and practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN).
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certification.
• Experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) and/or Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP).
• Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices.
• Proficiency in computer systems and applications or ability to be trained.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with care team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
