Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST)

Role Overview

• Travel/Contract position in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: 5x8s, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM
• Call rotation is required, including weekday and weekend call coverage
• Start dates listed: 11/2, 11/7, 11/16, 11/30

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist with 2 years of experience
• Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or RQI
• NBSTSA certification

Clinical Setting / Case Mix

• Experienced in robotic surgery with DaVinci Xi Robot
• All specialties use the DaVinci Robot, including General, Colorectal, Urology, and OB/GYN
• Heavy orthopedic procedures, including Total Joints, sports medicine, spine, and neuro
• Specialties include ENT, Eye, Plastic, Podiatry, Ortho, Spine, Neuro, General, OB/GYN, and Urology
• No set teams for specialties; staff work in all areas

Scheduling / Call Expectations

• 2 call teams during the week and 1 on weekends
• Approximately 1 weekend of call every 3-4 weeks
• Weekend call covers either Saturday or Sunday, not both
• Call occurs 2-3 times during the week
• Any RTO that falls on a call day must be covered by the employee finding coverage
