OT Inpatient Rehab

Role Overview

• Occupational Therapist needed with experience in a hospital setting.
• Ability to float between outpatient and inpatient care.
• Day shift: 5x8 hours, 8:00–16:30.
• 40 hours per week.
• Travel/Contract assignment in Crescent City, California.
• Contract length: 13 weeks.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
• Occupational Therapist with 2 years of experience
• Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Experience in a hospital setting
• 7-year background check required within 6 months of start
• Sex Offender Search required within 90 days of start
• FACIS Level 3 search required within 2 weeks of start and monthly after start
• California - Medi-Cal Search Result required if monthly FACIS III cannot be run
• EPLS/GSA/SAM required if monthly FACIS III cannot be run
• HHS/OIG required if monthly FACIS III cannot be run
• Physical Exam within 1 year of start
• Fit Test within 1 year of start and renewed annually
• Negative 9 panel drug screen within 6 months of start
• TB screening required within 90 days of start and renewed annually
• Full 7 years of work history in the application, including city and state, with no gaps
• Unit-specific skills checklist required

Preferred

• Hand certification

• Color deficiency must be assessed and documented by a licensed healthcare provider before start if applicable.
