Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | Expected 40 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to patients in a long-term acute care hospital (LTACH) setting
- Evaluate and treat patients with communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing disorders
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records using facility EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Float between units within the facility as operationally needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license valid in the state of California
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as an SLP
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
- Ability to work Monday through Friday in an onsite LTACH environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Seasoned experience in acute care, with preference for LTACH setting
- Familiarity with Protouch EMR platform
- Strong adaptability and comfort floating between units as needed
