Description
Respiratory Therapist - Springfield, MA
- Contract Duration: 19 weeks
- Contract Dates: 11/01/2026 – 03/15/2027
- Shift: PM, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
- Schedule: 5 × 8-hour shifts per week
- Hours: 40 hours per week; 48-hour weeks may be available for candidates willing to be flexible
- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
- On-Call: None
- RTO: No time off over Christmas will be accepted.
Requirements:
- Certification: RRT preferred; CRT candidates with critical care experience in the ED and ICU will also be considered.
- Experience: At least 1 year of acute care respiratory care experience preferred.
- BLS: Required.
- NRP: Preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory care in acute care settings.
- Support critical care areas, including the Emergency Department (ED) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
- Assess and monitor patients requiring respiratory support.
- Administer respiratory treatments and manage respiratory equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide safe and effective patient care.
