EMC - Eden Medical CenterPosition Overview:
Plans and organizes the scrub and preparation aspects in the care of surgical patients. Collaborates with the RNs, surgeons and all healthcare team members. Maintains AORN standards of professional nursing practice.Job Description:
EDUCATION
- HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
- CST-Certified Surgical Technologist preferred
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider required
EXPERIENCE
- 3-5 years Minimum three year experience in Labor and Delivery as Obstetrical Technician
- Surgical Technician training preferred
- Experience in basic computer skills preferred.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Basic knowledge of obstetrical/medical terminology is desirable.
- Knowledge of Aseptic technique.
- Surgical scrub procedures, use of sterile technique, instruments, and set-up procedures for the delivery/OR room.
- Knowledge of the anesthesia cart and equipment.

Pay Range is $32.65 to $37.12 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
