Registered Nurse - Oncology | Travel | Valparaiso, IN / Crown Point, IN

Assignment Overview

Join our team as a Registered Nurse specializing in oncology care. This position requires a chemotherapy certification and involves providing patient care in a clinic setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in administering chemotherapy and will thrive in a dynamic, patient-centered environment.

Shift Details: Main shift 7a-4p, rotating 8a-4:30p
Locations: 2505 Valley Drive, Valparaiso, IN, and 10855 Virginia Street, Crown Point, IN
Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2704.8 (negotiable)
Charting System: Epic
Patient Age Group: Adults

Responsibilities

Administer chemotherapy and manage patient reactions
Educate and support patients and their families
Manage and monitor chemotherapy infusions
Perform central line and PICC line care
Access and manage ports
Handle chemotherapy-related body fluids safely
Perform phlebotomy and manage infusion pumps

Qualifications

Required:

2 years of nursing experience
Indiana RN license
ACLS, BLS, and Chemo (ONS/ONCC) certifications
Experience with charting system Epic
Skills in managing ports and administering various cancer treatments
