Required Qualifications
- BLS (AHA)
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- 2 years of experience with travel experience required, or 4 years of experience with travel experience preferred
- Must have one supervisor reference from the most recent/current assignment
- DOB and SSN needed
Assignment Details
- 12-hour night shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Covers adults, peds, and neonate patients
- Areas covered include inpatient, PCU, ICU, ER, L&D, and nursery
- Float scope includes the whole hospital, with proficiency in ICU and ER
- Job duties include adult therapy, EKGs, aerosol treatments, and Vent/Bipap management
- RTs assist with adult intubation
- Supervisor on every shift; supervisor takes patient assignments
- No set schedule
- Weekend requirement is about every other weekend
- Holiday coverage as needed
- 60–70 treatments per day
- Pewter Gray scrubs
- 8 hours of non-billable orientation, plus modules before day 1
- Department-specific orientation: 2 shifts
Notes
- Zero tolerance for hits on license or background check, regardless of how long ago
- Must be able to work independently and well with others
- All clinicians must clock in and out at the facility
