Cath Lab Technologist

Required Qualifications
- 2 years of cath lab experience
- Active BLS certification
- ACLS
- RCIS or ARRT
- Must be able to scrub cardiac and peripheral cases
- Must have scrub experience for PCI/STEMI
- No radiology license required
Assignment Details
- Travel contract
- Call is required, averaging about 12 days per month, including at least one weekend
- Response time for call is 30 minutes
- Floor-specific orientation is typically 1 to 2 shifts, depending on skill level
- No floating
Work Environment
- 2-lab unit
- About 8 cases per day on average
- Telemetry not used
- Ventilator support available
- IV team available
- Respiratory therapy available 24/7
- Pharmacy available 24/7
- Charge nurse present

- Hospital-provided scrubs
- Candidates may not have been directly employed by certain affiliated facilities within the past year
- Two supervisor references are required at submittal
- Copy of driver’s license required at submittal to validate legal name
- Profiles are sent directly to the unit
