We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our team in the Medical Intermediate Care Unit. This unit comprises both medical-telemetry and medical step-down care, providing essential support to patients with various medical conditions.

Unit Information

Unit Size: 42 beds (21 medical & 21 intermediate care)
Expected Ratios: Intermediate care – 1:3; Medical – 1:6
Common Cases: Pneumonia, COPD exacerbation, Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA), Hyperglycemic Hyperosmolar State (HHS), Alcohol Withdrawal, Gastrointestinal Bleeding (GIB), Sepsis, Pulmonary Embolism (PE), Urinary Tract Infection (UTI), Respiratory Failure

Shift Information

12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Holiday coverage is required.

Qualifications

Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years in a similar role
Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS
Skills: Experience with tracheostomy care, ventilators, high-flow nasal cannula, cardiac drips, BiPap, and telemetry
