Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room Technologist – Santa Monica, CA 90404

Start Date: July 13, 2026

Location: Santa Monica, California – beachside acute care hospital

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (06:00 - 14:30). On-call required: up to 18 call shifts per 6-week period. 13-week assignment (91 days). Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

• Potential flexibility to float between facilities within California

Requirements:

• Valid California state license (must be in hand prior to submission)
• Current BLS and NBSTSA certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience required
• Experience with Epic or other electronic charting systems required
• Proficiency in cardiovascular procedures including aortic aneurysm repair, angioplasty/stenting, coronary artery bypass graft, valve replacements, and endovascular repairs
• Knowledge of fire safety, aseptic technique, laser safety, radiation safety, sharps safety, specimen handling, sterilization/disinfection, and universal protocol procedures
• LA County fire card obtained within the last 30 days (required at start)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Must disclose any background or license issues upfront at time of submission
