Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical – Albuquerque, NM 87109

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Day shift, 4x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30). Choice of 36 or 48 hours per week. Weekend coverage required. Patient ratio of 6:1. 12-hour orientation provided.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment in a 30-bed Medical Surgical unit with a daily census of 24 patients
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more
• Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility
• Flexible scheduling with 36 or 48 hour weekly options; overtime available after 48 hours at 1.1%
• Unit accepts first-time travelers with appropriate experience
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations in a collaborative environment

Requirements:

• Active RN license (New Mexico or Compact license accepted; pending licenses must be obtained prior to start date)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in core Med/Surg skills including IV management, telemetry monitoring, wound care, blood product administration, and central line management
• Willingness to float within scope to like units as needed
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
