Key Responsibilities of the RN PCU:

Provide intermediate-level nursing care to patients requiring close monitoring

Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient responses to treatment

Administer medications, IV therapies, and titratable drips as ordered

Perform comprehensive assessments and escalate care when patient conditions change

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams

Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and recovery

Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety and infection-control standards

Requirements:

2 years of recent PCU, Stepdown, or Telemetry RN experience

Active RN license (Colorado or compact eligible)

BLS and ACLS certifications required

Strong cardiac and clinical assessment skills

Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
