Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Evening/Night shifts (8 or 12-hour shifts: 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, 11:00 PM–7:30 AM), every other weekend, holidays, 1 on-call shift per 6-week schedule

Highlights:

• Work at Wisconsin's #1 hospital and a Level 1 Trauma Center with a Magnet-designated pediatric facility
• Provide respiratory care across pediatric and adult populations including NICU (Level IV), ICU, and IMC levels
• Experience with mechanical ventilation, high-flow oxygen therapy, non-invasive ventilation, and advanced airway management
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team delivering high-quality care in a nationally recognized health system
• Epic charting system utilized throughout facility
• 40 hours of comprehensive orientation provided

Requirements:

• Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the State of Wisconsin (must be in hand at submittal)
• RRT credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care
• BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (American Heart Association ONLY)
• Graduate of a CoARC-accredited School for Respiratory Care
• Minimum 2 years of staff therapist experience with pediatric and adult patient populations
• Experience in an Academic Level 1 Trauma Center or similar-sized hospital required
• Prior travel experience highly preferred
• Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
