Location: Santa Rosa, California
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts (4x12 available upon request); 1:3 patient ratio; 36-hour orientation

Highlights:

• Work in a 277-bed acute care hospital with a dedicated 10-bed LDRP unit and average daily census of 12 patients
• Facility delivers 200-300 births per month with comprehensive high-risk antepartum capabilities
• Epic charting system with full interdisciplinary support team
• May float between like units and affiliated facilities in the region as needed
• Guaranteed hours with limited call-off policy (once per two-week pay period)
• Holiday requirement: Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery AND Postpartum experience (both required)
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Valid California RN license in hand prior to submission
• Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP
• Preferred certification: AWHONN Advanced
• Epic charting experience required
• Experience with high-risk antepartum, LDRP, triage, IUPC placement/calibration, central line maintenance, and circulating for C-sections
• Proficiency with anticoagulation therapy, antihypertensives, insulin drips, and magnesium sulfate therapy
• Two supervisory references covering one year of comparable specialty experience within the last three years
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius
• Time-off requests must be submitted at time of application
