Start Date: April 6, 2026
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Varying shifts with at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule; patient ratio of 10-25

Highlights:

• Specialized NICU/Pediatrics service lines including 51-bed Level 3 NICU, 10-bed PICU, and 20-bed Pediatric floor
• Work with advanced equipment including Draeger Infant/Pediatric ventilators, HFOV, Infant Flow SiPAP, Newport and Hamilton transport vents, and Vapotherm
• Cerner EMR system for streamlined documentation
• Collaborate with a team of 17 dedicated NICU/Pediatrics RRTs within a department of 120+ respiratory professionals
• Perform high-acuity procedures including high-risk deliveries, complete airway and ventilator management, intubation/extubation, and blood gas collection and analysis
• Opportunity to float to general adult medical floors for varied clinical experience

Requirements:

• Active North Carolina Respiratory Care License (must be in hand prior to submission)
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential required – CRT credentials are not acceptable
• Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• NPS and ACLS certifications preferred
• Experience with neonatal and pediatric respiratory care strongly preferred
