Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Schedule: 12-hour shifts (day/evening), 0700 – 2330, every other weekend and some holidays required, no call

Highlights:

• Work in an 11-bed acuity-adaptable Burn ICU within a Level I Trauma Center and the state's only verified Adult and Pediatric Burn Center
• Patient ratio of 2:1 across all shifts with multidisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Epic EMR system required; telemetry competency testing required prior to start
• Comprehensive 20-hour orientation with supportive, collaborative team environment
• Care for diverse patient populations including burn, wound care, and off-service ICU/IMC patients across all age groups
• Magnet-designated facility ranked as Wisconsin's top hospital and one of the nation's leading teaching institutions

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin RN license or valid Compact RN license in hand at time of application
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care ICU experience within the last 3 years required
• Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only); PALS preferred
• Must successfully pass telemetry competency exam prior to clearance to start (strict passing criteria with 80% minimum score and 100% accuracy on lethal rhythms)
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
