Location: Santa Rosa, California
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 2:1 patient ratio, 8-bed recovery unit with average daily census of 25-30 patients; floating to affiliated facilities required

Highlights:

• Phase I PACU experience with diverse surgical specialties including ortho, neuro, spine, vascular, and trauma
• Pre- and post-procedural regional block experience
• Support from multidisciplinary team including respiratory services, physical therapy, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• Care for all age groups from pediatrics through geriatrics
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• No more than 7 days RTO during assignment

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of inpatient acute PACU experience (hardstop requirement)
• Active California RN license (pending licenses not accepted)
• Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required; CCRN and CPAN preferred
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Must be willing to float to ambulatory surgery center and affiliated facilities
• Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment in comparable specialty
• Must reside outside of 50-mile local radius
