Job Opportunity – Radiation Therapist – South Carolina

Start Date: May 18, 2026

Location: Sumter, South Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 40 hours per week with no weekend coverage required

Highlights:

• Consistent weekday schedule with no weekend shifts
• Work with 2 treatment machines treating a daily census of approximately 45 patients
• Variety of external beam setups and diagnoses across multiple patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• 2 treatment rooms supporting diverse radiation oncology cases
• Paid pre-start orientation modules available (reimbursable up to 16 hours)
• Orientation begins every Monday for smooth onboarding

Requirements:

• ARRT-R (Radiation Therapy) certification required
• South Carolina Radiation Therapist State License required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of radiation therapy experience required
• Proficiency in adult and pediatric outpatient care
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE protocols
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (distance requirements apply based on specialty)
