Description
Start Date: June 15, 2026
Location: Austin, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 13-week contract, no on-call required
Highlights:
- 34-bed surgical oncology and medical/surgical telemetry unit with 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Night shift staffing includes 1 Charge Nurse, 6 Nurses, and 2 PCTs for excellent team support
- 24-hour cardiac telemetry monitoring with GE Telemetry and Welch Allyn Vital Signs equipment
- MediTech EMR system
- Serve diverse adult and geriatric patient populations in a modified total patient care model
- Award-winning unit culture: 1 ICARE Award Winner and 3 Daisy Award Winners
Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Medical/Surgical nursing experience required
- Chemotherapy Certification preferred
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
