Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Surgical Technologist – Atlanta, Georgia

Start Date: July 27, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Rotating weekends with call coverage (typically one weekday call per week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks). May float within facility and to Main OR as scope of practice allows.

Highlights:

• Work with a specialized cardiovascular and thoracic surgery team performing advanced procedures including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, LVAD/RVAD, and vascular surgeries
• Epic charting system in use for documentation
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred; exposure to community hospital settings valued
• First-time travelers welcome; minimum 2 years of experience required
• Interdisciplinary support including respiratory and interpretation services
• Request time off available: up to 7 days per contract (must be finalized at submission)

Requirements:

• Active Georgia state license or Compact license at time of application
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of surgical tech experience required
• Experience with cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures (scrub experience essential)
• Epic charting system experience required
• Patient ratio experience of 1:1
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date to avoid delays
