Description
Start Date: July 13, 2026
Location: Cartersville, Georgia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Flexible scheduling required; every other weekend; 5:1 patient ratio across all shifts
Highlights:
- 13-week assignment at a 20-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit serving adult and geriatric populations
- Epic charting system experience preferred
- Trauma Level I and II experience preferred; ideal for ortho trauma and total joint replacement cases
- 6-hour paid orientation with specialty-specific modules
- First-time travelers welcome with a minimum of 2 years of RN experience
- Floating may be required within facility and scope of practice as needed
Requirements:
- Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of application
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Experience with telemetry monitoring, IV starts and maintenance, feeding tube care, PICC line management, and wound care/wound vac
- Community hospital and trauma experience preferred
- All compliance documents and labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing; full compliance required by the Tuesday prior to start date
- Maximum 7 days of requested time off must be finalized at time of submission; holiday work required based on assignment dates
