# Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – Texas**Start Date:** July 22, 2026 **Location:** Central Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** 12-hour shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a); every other weekend required; no call**Highlights:** - 10-bed Intensive Care Unit with 1:4-5 patient ratios- STEMI protocol, Stroke protocol, Conscious Sedation, Chest Tubes, Code management, and Intubation support- Meditech Expanse EMR system- Advanced unit equipment including Phillips monitors, HillRom beds, Omnicell, GE EKG machine, Lifepak 20e defibrillator, Lucas device, and Verathon bladder scanner- Collaborative team environment with 12 nursing staff members- No floating required**Requirements:** - Active Texas RN license or compact state license- Minimum 3 years recent ICU experience required- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required- Previous charge nurse experience preferred**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This ICU role offers the chance to work with a close-knit team in a well-equipped unit managing critical cardiovascular and neurological patients.
