Job Opportunity – Neuro ICU Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 36 hours per week; 2:1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends; weekend shifts for night shift are Friday and Saturday nights (Sunday night is not considered a weekend shift); floating required to units of equivalent or lower acuity

Highlights:

• Specialized Neuro ICU environment caring for stroke patients, traumatic brain injuries, post-neurosurgery patients, and complex neuromuscular conditions
• Comprehensive patient care including ventilator management, ICP monitoring, EVD management, and invasive neuromonitoring
• Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility
• Bedside procedures include tracheostomy, PEG placement, central and arterial line placement, and EVD placement
• Strong interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and lift teams
• 13-week travel assignment with pre-approved time off available

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Active certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA certifications only)
• Demonstrated competency in IV starts, telemetry, ventilator management, and intracranial pressure monitoring
• Epic charting experience required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Two professional references required: at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor; charge RN acceptable for second reference
• Must complete urgent Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon contract signing
