Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) RN – Georgia

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Friday-Sunday weekend rotation with call responsibilities. Call typically includes one weekday per week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks. Float within facility/scope of practice and to Main OR as needed. Must be available for holiday coverage based on assignment period.

Highlights:

• Cardiovascular operating room experience with exposure to CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, VAD, thoracic procedures, and vascular surgeries
• Epic charting system utilized
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
• Interdisciplinary support including Respiratory and Interpretation Services
• Clinical screening and manager review process to ensure appropriate fit

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Experience with cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures including CABG, valve procedures, TAVR, IABP, VAD, and related cardiovascular surgeries
• Epic charting experience required
• 1:1 patient ratio experience
• Community hospital and trauma center experience preferred
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date; orientation held bi-weekly

• Holiday coverage is required based on assignment period; minimal time-off requests strongly preferred

• Maximum of 7 days time-off per contract; no time-off during orientation week
• Compliance documents must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing with final deadline the Tuesday prior to start
