Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night Shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week. Every other weekend and every other holiday required. No call.

Highlights:

• 27-bed specialized unit focused on nephrology, urology (surgical and non-surgical), benign hematology, and medical-surgical patients
• Patient ratios: 1:4-5 on night shift
• Epic EMR system utilized facility-wide
• 48 hours of structured orientation provided
• Interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, rapid response teams, and pharmacy

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience required
• BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry, and intermediate care
• Skills required: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, monitoring chemotherapy, non-invasive airway management, peripheral line care/management
• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program required
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Ability to float to different units within the organization as needed
