Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Surgery/Trauma – Georgia

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Hospital-assigned shifts; block schedules not available. Mandatory holiday coverage required (either Thanksgiving Day or day after, plus either Christmas Eve/Day or New Year's Eve/Day).

• High-acuity surgical trauma floor serving a diverse patient population including surgical cases, trauma patients, and specialized spinal injury care
• 5:1 patient-to-nurse ratio with comprehensive support including nursing support technicians, phlebotomists, and unit secretaries (night shift)
• EPIC electronic medical records system in use
• Structured handoff process with ED nurses and admitting units for seamless patient transitions
• Immediate start date with contract beginning October 2026
• Dynamic, fast-paced trauma environment ideal for experienced acute care nurses

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Georgia (or eligible for compact licensure)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in surgical or trauma specialty nursing
• BLS certification required; ACLS strongly preferred
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Ability to work assigned shifts with flexibility; no time off requests during contract period
• Willingness to work mandatory holiday coverage as specified
