Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Pulmonary Thoracic Intermediate Care / Step Down – Georgia

Start Date: November 9, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, schedule varies. Must be available to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).

Highlights:

• Intermediate care / step-down unit specializing in pulmonary and thoracic patient populations
• Diverse case mix including intermediate medical patients, high-risk respiratory cases, cardiac thoracic surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, and head/neck surgery
• Patient acuity ranges from room air to BiPAP or Optiflow support
• Night shift position offering consistent 12-hour scheduling
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in specialty required
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility

Requirements:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of recent, relevant experience in pulmonary thoracic intermediate care or step-down units
• Current AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification preferred
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility location
