Job Description:

This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Level 4). The RN will be expected to complete a SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and care for neonatal patients with premature births, cardiac defects, genetic disorders, surgical needs, ECMO, and cooling.
• Participate in floor-specific orientation and adhere to unit protocols.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Neonatologists, midlevels, and respiratory therapists.
• Respond to varying patient needs and provide infants with specialized intensive care.

Requirements:

• Must have 2 years of Level 4 NICU experience.
• Previous travel experience preferred.
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, Cardiac STABLE plus.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required.
• 50 mile radius rule applies; driver’s license required.
