Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) / Neuro Medical Surgical / Telemetry
City/State: Fort Wayne, Indiana
Shift: 19:00-07:00, Nights
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: 07/20/2026
Job Description:
Registered Nurse needed for the Neuro Medical Surgical and Telemetry unit. This is a high acuity med-surg role involving diagnoses such as stroke, seizures, post-op neuro surgeries, level 2 trauma cases, and general post-op care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive neuro assessments
- Apply critical thinking skills in patient care
- Manage post-surgical drains
- Float to other med-surg/telemetry units as needed
Requirements:
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Expertise in neuro assessments and post-surgical care
- Patient care ratio expertise of 5:1 or 6:1
