Travel Registered Nurse - NICU
Unit Information
Location: Corpus Christi, TX
Unit Details:
- Number of Beds: 32
- Number of Staff: 63
- Types of Staff:
- 1 charge nurse
- 1/2 unit clerk
- Necessary nurses to care for patients
- Patient Ratios: 1:2 or 1:3
- Type of Equipment:
- Ventilators
- Oscillators
- Vapotherm
- Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Centricity Perinatal and Meditech
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Ventilator experience
- Experience with infants from 23 weeks to over 40 weeks gestation
Preferred Skills:
- Ventilator/Oscillator experience
- CPN charting experience
Typical Procedures Performed:
- Intubations
- Assistance with eye exams
- Feeding tube insertions
- IV insertions
Best Personality Fit: Candidates should be collaborative and team-oriented.
Required Certifications: CPR, NRP
Floating Areas: Level II NICU and Newborn Nursery
Work Details
Dress Code: Royal Blue Scrubs
Weekend Requirements: 3-4 weekends per month
