Job Title
Travel RN – Medical Surgical / Observation
Location
Dickson, Tennessee
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within a Medical Surgical / Observation unit
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and communicating with the care team
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on care procedures, discharge instructions, and health management
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced acute care environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Experience in an Observation unit setting
- Familiarity with HCA facility systems and workflows
