Description
Title: Oncology RN – Outpatient / Infusion
Duration: 13+ Weeks + High possibility of extension
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90025
Schedule Notes: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)
Job Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) in an outpatient/infusion setting.
Key Responsibilities
Administer chemotherapy (IV push, oral, continuous infusion)
Manage infusion therapies, IVs, PICC lines, and ports
Monitor patients and manage side effects of treatment
Handle oncologic emergencies (e.g., sepsis, anaphylaxis, tumor lysis syndrome)
Educate patients and families on treatment plans
Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC
Required Skills:
Experience: Minimum 2 years in Oncology (Outpatient preferred)
Strong experience in IV therapy and infusion pump management
Central line, PICC line, and port access/care
Chemotherapy administration and safety protocols
Symptom management (nausea, pain, neuropathy, etc.)
Patient education and psychosocial support
License & Certifications:
Active CA RN License, BLS (AHA or ARC), ONS/ONCC required and OCN preferred
