Travel ER / Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – Nights | Sundance, WY

📍 Location: Sundance, WY 82729
🕒 Shift: 7 On / 7 Off | Night Shift
📅 Contract: Travel Assignment

💰 Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $43/hour
• Weekly Housing & Meal Stipend: Up to $1,059.10
• Estimated Weekly Gross Pay: Up to $2,607.10
  (Based on successful completion of all scheduled hours.)

🩺 Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced ER / Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Sundance, Wyoming. This role requires flexibility to work in both the Emergency Department and Acute Care/Medical-Surgical Unit, providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

📋 Job Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in both ER and Medical-Surgical departments.
• Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and monitor patient progress.
• Respond quickly to emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Accurately document patient care using the Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and infection control protocols.

✅ Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Wyoming or Compact License preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room (ER) experience required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (preferred/required per facility policy).
• Experience caring for both emergency and acute care patients.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and multitasking skills.
