A long‑term care facility in Thermopolis, Wyoming is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) for a 20‑week travel assignment beginning August 10. This role requires a confident, hands‑on nursing leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and can drive clinical excellence, staff development, and regulatory compliance within an LTC setting.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a DON
- BLS (AHA)
- Long‑term care experience required
- Strong leadership, communication, and team‑building skills
- Ability to manage high‑volume workflows and rapidly shifting priorities
Position Details
- Oversee daily nursing operations within the LTC facility
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
- Lead and mentor nursing staff, promoting a positive and efficient work culture
