Requirements:
Successful completion of radiology training from an AMA-approved school of Radiology
Minimum 3 years of radiology/CT experience
Must have successfully completed CT training
Current and active Arizona State Radiology License (R)
Current ARRT Certification in Radiology with advanced qualification in CT (RT)(CT)
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Experience operating teleradiology and fax equipment
Ability to perform X-ray procedures, as this assignment covers both CT and X-ray
Experience with Allscripts EMR
Must maintain all required licenses and certifications throughout the assignment

Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures using X-ray and CT equipment
Operate and maintain radiologic and CT equipment according to facility standards
Provide both CT and X-ray services as required by patient and department needs
Process and produce high-quality radiographic images for diagnostic interpretation
Perform CT examinations and ensure appropriate patient positioning and safety
Operate teleradiology and fax equipment as required
Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond appropriately to patient needs
Follow radiation safety, infection control, patient safety, and hospital policies
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in Allscripts EMR
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Provide holiday coverage as required
Participate in facility orientation every 2 weeks as required
Maintain current Arizona licensure, ARRT(R)(CT), and BLS certification throughout the assignment
